Kleine Anmerkung: Ich hab wenn möglich und nötig Zentimeter und Yards angegeben. Da es aber auch in Deutschland weit verbreitet ist, die Blöcke mit Inch-Linealen zuzuschneiden, habe ich in der eigentlichen Anleitung nur Inch angegeben.

Small note: I have given centimeters and yards when possible and necessary. However, since it is also widespread in Germany to cut the blocks with inch rulers, I have only specified inches in the actual instructions.

How to start
Nach unserer Ankündigung vor zwei Wochen kamen so viele schöne Reaktionen auf den QAL, vielen Dank!
Da viele sich besser entscheiden können, wenn sie den Arbeitsaufwand genau abschätzen können, gibt es heute das erste, grundlegende Detail: die Stoffmengen!
Ein Ausmalbild ist auch dabei – und es ist noch ein ganzer Monat bis zum Beginn unseres QAL, Ihr habt also noch gut Zeit zum Planen.
Aus dem Schnittmuster bleiben viele abgeschnittene Dreiecke übrig, die sich hervorragend als HST für ein weiteres Projekt eignen. Wenn Ihr sie direkt nach den Flio-over-Dreiecken näht oder gleich nach dem Abschneiden, tut Ihr Euch am leichtesten.

So here comes the first basic information: how much fabric you need!
A colour-in-image is up here ! You have the whole month of June for planning and trying out colour combinations!
This pattern has a lot of cut off triangles – if you take the extra time to piece them, either after cutting or when sewing the flip-over triangles, you get lots of HST to play with!

What about scraps?
Wenn Ihr wie Kirstin @augusthimmel scrappy nähen wollt, gibt es für Euch noch eine gesonderte Anleitung. Welche Stoffe und Farben Ihr beispielsweise für das Tartan-Element braucht, ergibt sich ja eher im Verlauf, deshalb braucht diese Variante eine etwas andere Vorgehensweise. Ich freue mich sehr, dass die scrappy-Patin Kirstin angeboten hat, dazu eine Anleitung mit Fotos zu schreiben!

Es sind ca. Angaben, wer grobe Abweichungen feststellt, darf sich gern melden!
